Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Baton Rouge Facility
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with potential overtime and weekend work as necessary.
Overview: We have an immediate need for a full-time Production Associate at our Baton Rouge facility. This role is ideal for career-minded individuals who are teachable, able to follow instructions, and can commit to on-time arrival and full work shifts. We encourage individuals with backgrounds in carpentry, cabinet making, or machining to apply.
Responsibilities:

Select appropriate materials for rubber preparation and gasket fabrication.
*
Prepare layout measurements using tape measures, rules, or squares.
*
Mark and cut assembly lines on materials with pencils, chalk, or awls.
*
Assemble cut and shaped materials effectively.
*
Work from detailed drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
*
Perform additional duties as assigned.
*
Candidate Requirements:
*
6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in a related field.
*
Ability to pass all administered pre-employment tests.
*
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimal usage).
*
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
*
Capable of reading a tape measure to the nearest 1/16 inch and using a speed square.
*
Able to understand instructions, drawings, and general correspondence comprehensively.
*
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for prolonged periods.
*
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
*
Safety & Environmental Factors: This position requires adherence to the company’s safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. The role may involve:

Working under extreme hot or cold conditions.
*
Physical tasks such as standing for the entire shift, using hands for various tasks, ascending stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing.
*
Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
*
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
