Description

• Implementation of clinical, dietary, and educational programs on a daily basis, as indicated and/or scheduled. Checking blood sugar levels and administering insulin injections before mealtime.

• Direct care responsibilities.

• Observes and records accurate and reliable data for programs as established in the educational plan for the assigned residents.

• Attends, completes and maintains all required trainings and certifications.

• Maintains a working knowledge of all individuals and will periodically work in other program locations at the request of a manager.

If certified in Medication Administration, dispenses medications when necessary. Follows established systems to insure quality health care of the individuals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN Certification is required, college degree and previous direct care experience is preferred.

• Maturity, good judgment and the ability to work comfortably with people in the community.

• Current CPR, Safety Care, First Aid or willing to obtain the certifications. May be required to obtain MAP license.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

Pay: $30-$32 per hour
