Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Senior Management on the development of in-house crews, business practices, and field procedures
• Organize and direct field labor force on a daily basis to complete the scheduled work in a quality manner, on time and safely
• Running multiple crews
• Leads and accepts responsibility for the successful completion of field operations
• Operate directional drilling equipment in accordance with blueprints and designated plans
• Oversee proper set up and tear down of job site
• Communication with MissDigg
• Making Asbuilds
• 50% Office work / 50% Field work
• Complete and submit accurate paperwork back to the office
• Access construction points as required
• Read and interpret engineering plans
• Keep a detailed record of work activity
• All applicants must follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times
• Responsible for ensuring that all projects adhere to internal safety policies, OSHA, and all other client, Federal, State, and local municipality regulations

Qualifications:

• Operate construction equipment and machinery
• More than 1 year experience operating a directional drill
• Knowledge of utility depths and placements; general knowledge of construction practices
• Able to read blueprints/underground utility plans and interpret work assignments
• Experience with Ditch Witch Sub-Site Tracker, Vermeer F2 or equal trackers
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, if necessary
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout the work shift
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
