Amcare Pro Home Health is interviewing for a Part-time/PRN Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants PTA to add to our growing DFW team. The right candidate would need to be a self-starter, who needs very little supervision and can exemplify the ability to supervise PTAs The territory would be S. Dallas/Lancaster/Cedar Hill/Oak Cliff and surrounding areas.

HOME HEALTH experience is REQUIRED. Knowledge of the OASIS assessment tool would be necessary. Familiarity with electronic charting (WELLSKY/KINSSER) is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in developing the plan of care.
• Direct physical therapy treatment/supervise PTAs
• Instruct patients, families and caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.
• Prepare and submit clinical notes in a timely manner.

Requirements of Qualified Candidates:

• Must be currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the STATE OF TEXAS and compliant with accepted professional standards and practices
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
