The Foreman will assemble, install, maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, and deliver leadership to other crew members on the job.

An active US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 4 years is required

Requirements

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customer needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety
• Complete projects within established policies and procedures

- Ensures that equipment is weather sealed - Performs routine maintenance on PV systems

• Assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system
• Train crew members up to speed on all components utilized during installation (procedures, tools, lines of communication, etc.)
• Check over provided jobs (pack out) before leaving the warehouse each morning to ensure provided material
• Review plans and count parts from the plan set to verify BOM
• Responsible for final system walkthrough with the customer ensuring quality and aesthetic of install
• Cleanliness of job site and installation vehicles
• Performs other related duties as assigned?

Qualifications

• Construction or outdoor experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation
• Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to read building plans

- Ability to read equipment manuals - Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels

- Ability to use technology, such as smartphones - A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 4 years is required

• Must not have a fear of heights
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
