What a Unit Manager Does:

The primary purpose of the job is to direct the day to day functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance
with current federal, state and local standards governing long term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times. In addition, the Unit Manager will do I/P and Staff Development

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a LPN or RN in Colorado
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in post acute or skilled nursing preferred
  • I/P and Staff Development experience
