POSITION SUMMARY: Provide occupational therapy services for goal-directed, purposeful activity to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance; facilitate the learning of adaptive skills by individuals of all ages who have physical disabilities and related psychological impairments, deficits of self-care due to age of pathology, and/or developmental disabilities. Such therapy is designed to maximize independence, prevent further disability and maintain health.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
STANDARD I: Behavior Standards
STANDARD II: Job Knowledge/Productivity
Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame.
STANDARD III: Communication/Interpersonal Skills
Demonstrates good skills in all forms of communication.
STANDARD IV: Education/Development/Initiative
Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
STANDARD V: Hospital/Department Policies and Procedures
Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines and protocols.
STANDARD VI: Teamwork
Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
STANDARD VII: Position Specific Performance Criteria/Essential Job Functions
Performs position specific job functions at an acceptable level.
Qualifications
Position Title: Registered Occupational Therapist
EDUCATION
4 year/Bachelors Degree / Post Graduate Degree
License/Certification: Kansas License
BLS
ACLS
Other:
Registered Occupational Therapist with current Kansas License or eligibility.
Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Current valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance for vehicle.
