MUST HAVE RESIDENTUAL CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND
Gpac, a 30 years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in residential construction. Our client is a privately held company with over $20MM in annual revenue, specializing in mostly entry-level homes ranging from 1250-3200 sq. ft. and higher-end multifamily townhomes up to $1.5MM. With 25 years in the business, our client is known for its close-knit culture and commitment to excellence.
This is an amazing opportunity for candidates looking to take on a leadership role as a Controller in the residential construction industry.
Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities of the company
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
Controller Essential Job Functions:
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Controller Skills:
- 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience in the construction industry a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
