DESCRIPTION

Pharmacy IT Services is looking for an experienced Systems Development Engineer to innovative and have great problem solving and analytical skills, who understands the Agile mindset and DevOps philosophies.
We are looking for a motivated Systems Development Engineer who has worked extensively in Systems, Security and Data Security/Management. For this position, we require a strong coding skill set, detailed understanding & knowledge of software development best practices, and architecture and design. You’ll play a key role in architecting, designing, supporting Microsoft technologies on AWS-based infrastructure. You’ll also work with the Microsoft Implementation Teams to help continuously improve the Microsoft Technologies implementation on AWS.You’ll use and touch a wide range of technologies and systems, including products that we’ve built from the ground up and commercial products. You’ll help junior engineers develop their skills, and continue to raise the bar building for the future of Amazon. You must have a bias towards automation and track record of creating automated solutions, have experience operating distributed systems and diagnosing and resolving complex problems, and pay attention to detail and solve problems at their root.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1 years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 7 years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- 4 years of programming with at least one modern language such as C , C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
- Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
- Experience in the building of information security as a core competency throughout our relationships with our internal teams/partners/vendor; this includes designing the right level of data movements, and providing education and training to the organization
- Experience processes/technologies to establish rules to protect data moving across the enterprise.
- Implementation knowledge on M365 and Health Care Systems will be plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java
- Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following: · Knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure architecture such as SQL, Active Directory, .NET · MCSA, MCSD, and/or MCSE · AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers
