OpsTech Solutions (OTS) supply chain team is accountable to manage all IT infrastructure and end user equipment deployed across Amazon Fulfillment facilities globally. The team provides end to end solutions for this equipment that includes lifecycle management, change control, demand planning, supplier readiness, material management, and total cost of ownership. Our initiatives deliver on the solutions that power the physical fulfillment to millions of Amazon.com customers across the world.
Material Management’s Global Supplier Center of Excellence (SCOE) team focuses on building an agile and resilient supply structure, supplier readiness to support Amazon demand, supplier performance management, supplier capacity and capability development, and risk identification and mitigation. As a part of the Supplier Center of Excellence, the Supply Chain Analyst will support several important operational and strategic functions including creation of new tools and mechanisms, supplier information management, establishing tools for tracking supplier performance metrics, monthly reporting and financial analysis and support. This role will also play a significant part supporting new initiatives, process improvement, and system projects related to these areas they manage.
Key job responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
• Own monthly metrics reporting, auditing data, and publishing to stakeholders.
• Support reporting of supplier readiness, performance data, risk, cost savings, and various ad hoc analytics and reporting as requested.
• Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel, ERP system, and other data management systems.
• Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions, e.g. supplier and manufacturer spend analytics.
• Own the maintenance and improvement of various internal tools or systems, including but not limited to SharePoint libraries, supplier contact and information lists, and WIKI pages.
• Partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Driving small to medium operational enhancement projects.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Lead or participate in development of policies and procedures, process efficiency, and innovation for related programs.
• Participate in implementation of new procurement systems and technology.
• Support supplier readiness initiatives and escalations related to late orders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, I.T. or a related field
- • 3 years in related roles, with focus on supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or related field
- • Hands on skill in financial analysis and value / TCO analysis
- • Adept at accurately managing detailed reporting of numbers and metrics, and ability to understand and interpret data to look for trends and recognize problems
- • Advanced Excel skills, with pivot tables and complex formulas, and ability to create visually appealing dashboards, trackers and other mechanisms
- • Must have a positive, collaborative attitude, and a continuous improvement mindset
- • Bias for action and urgency
- • Takes ownership of projects and knows how to deliver results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- • Working knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger accounting
- • Advanced abilities with databases, BI tools and spend analytics
- • Strong quantitative analytical and logical reasoning skills; and using data from multiple sources to develop and automate reports
- • Smartsheet and QuickSight experience is helpful
- • Excellent written and visual communication
