We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Analysis and Tooling Lead to join the Americas Business Operations team within the Data Center Delivery organization at our Seattle, WA, Herndon, VA or Arlington, VA office.
As the Analysis and Tooling TPM, you will guide operational excellence by developing and implementing frameworks for analyzing data center delivery program, project and performance data across the high-volume Americas region. You will identify trends and challenges and develop and implement process improvement initiatives and tools that help Infrastructure TPMs and planners in this region build faster and more efficiently. This fast-paced, high-visibility role requires timely input from cross-functional teams to ensure analyses are accurate and complete and remediation are developed and implemented effectively. Along the way, you will use your judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple time zones, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.
The candidate should have strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience using data (including SQL) and metrics to drive improvements and business decisions. Proficient at creating data visualizations (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Excel pivots, other).
The ideal candidate has the ability to earn trust with multiple stakeholder groups, outstanding business acumen and judgment, intense curiosity, strong technical and organizational skills, and superior communication skills. They will have a strong bias toward data driven decision making. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, have a bias for action (while paying careful attention to detail), and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
The candidate should have experience applying a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques and exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking.

As a TPM in this role, you'll be responsible for visioning, designing, and deploying analyses and tools to support the Data Center Delivery team deliver new capacity in the Americas and Gov clusters. You'll work with key global partners within and outside the DCPD org such as DC-Planning, Finance, CDPA-BI, PAC, Construction, Real Estate, Networking, and more!

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data using SQL
- Experience developing Tableau dashboards and Tableau Server
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and effectively influence across cross functional teams
- Strong analytical skills; ability to mine and use data and metrics to back up assumptions and planning
- Experience developing and understanding project schedule data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
