DESCRIPTION

The Customer Level Insights and Prediction team at the AWS Central Economics group is dedicated to develop machine learning models that drive AWS growth and adoption.
As the Sr. Technical Program Manager for the team, you will manage and develop our programs that drive AWS growth leveraging machine learning and generative AI. You will ensure business and technical stakeholder are aligned and drive mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions. You will bring strong collaborative skills and ability to engage leaders from go-to-market teams (sales, marketing, and professional services), service teams (AWS product managers), and science teams, to align our team's projects and deliverables to the business needs. You will measure, and report on progress, resolve bottlenecks, make trade-offs, and balance the business needs with constraints. You will also identify and develop automated, self-serve mechanisms to scale currently manual processes where relevant, and work with the internal stakeholders to drive adoption.
Key job responsibilities
- Be a central point of contact for the team
- Manage the team's ongoing and new long term programs
- Work with new customers to scope projects and deliverables
- Lead the implementation of experiments and pilot programs with customer teams
- Onboard new customers to the team's available products
- Create and manage a roadmap for standardizing the products to self-service
- Lead learnings from follow-up with customers of the team's products.
- Work with sales support tools teams across AWS to integrate our team's tools in any existing tools our customers use
About the team
The AWS Central Economics group is dedicated to bringing the most trustworthy evidence-based analysis to the most strategic decisions for AWS leadership. The Customer Level Insights and Prediction team mission is to harness the power of generative AI and machine learning to help AWS customers get the right services at the right time.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Chicago, IL, USA | Seattle, WA, USA

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 5 years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- 3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
