The AWS Localization team makes AWS resources accessible in many languages and adapted to many cultures, expanding our localization footprint every year. We are looking for an experienced full-stack Development (SDE) with an international mindset, to help us develop new technical approaches to new and old localization challenges. Our services are built on multiple AWS services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and MySQL. Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with smart, motivated people - who also like to have fun!
We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented individuals who have experience building innovative, mission-critical, high-volume application and service solutions that integrate with upstream systems, this is an enormous opportunity to influence design and that will optimize AWS localization systems.
In this position you will:
· Be responsible for the development and maintenance of key system features
· Work with Technical Program Manager and Product Managers to understand the requirements and deliver solutions to localization challenges
· Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
· Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality against aggressive schedules
· Establish architectural principles and design patterns, and mentor team members to apply these principles and patterns appropriately

Seattle, WA, USA
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 1 years of full stack development experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
