DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a high-impact program management role in a fast-growing organization? Does helping businesses discover and realize the benefits of selling on Amazon get you excited? Would you like to own a core program that enables hundreds of thousands of small, medium, and large businesses succeed in Amazon stores worldwide? If so, then we want to talk with you.
We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager (PM) to help build and operationalize analytical tools designed to improve the Seller and Customer experience in Amazon’s worldwide stores. You’ll work with a team of product managers, scientists, economists, sales representatives, and global stakeholders to innovate and drive efficiencies so that our Sellers have the support they need to offer Customers the best possible experience in our stores. You'll use your analytical skills to measure, track, and scale impact, working closely with our global business and tech partners to ensure our tools meet the needs of internal teams and Sellers around the globe.
More than half of Amazon sales come from third-party sellers, which include small businesses, emerging brands, and household names. Last year in the US alone, Amazon sellers launched 100K new brands, created 1.5MM jobs, and 70K sellers generated at least $100K annual sales. If you’re interested in work that empowers entrepreneurs, supports small business, and elevates the world’s next greatest brands, come join the team that’s responsible for seller recruitment and success. You’ll help get the power of Amazon scale and tools into the hands of thousands of sellers who provide everything from basic necessities to life-changing products for customers around the world.
Key job responsibilities
When launching new products and onboarding new users for our product portfolio, we need to earn and maintain the trust of our end-users by simplifying complex solutions into user-friendly outputs that promote adoption, measure model performance, and fit seamlessly into stakeholder workflows. As a Sr. Program Manager, you’ll be directly responsible for engaging with stakeholders across our third-party seller business, understanding their needs, tracking key input and output metrics, and helping to create a seamless, end-to-end experience for internal teams, Sellers, and Customers. You’ll be key to developing a strategy to scale our products to Amazon’s worldwide stores, a scope that encompasses more than 20 countries and 50 stakeholder groups.
The ideal candidate can dive deep into complex analytical problems and enjoys building solutions that delight Customers, create efficiencies, and drive improvements. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to (1) meet or exceed ambitious goals and execute against a high-visibility business and technical roadmap for our portfolio of analytical tools; (2) adopt a Customer-focused mindset to scale product adoption for global stakeholders; (3) implement simple solutions to complex business problems; and (4) create efficiencies that reduce the manual effort needed to run our business portfolio.
A day in the life
In this role, you will interact with dozens of Amazon teams that rely on our analytical tools to help Sellers succeed in our stores, as well as interact with product managers, data scientists, business intelligence analysts, and data engineers who support the underlying infrastructure for our portfolio of analytical frameworks and machine learning models.
This position can be located in Arlington, Virginia (DC Metro Area) or Seattle, Washington, with the expectation that you will be in the office three days a week.
