We are doing this by building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages.

As the Program Manager, Growth & Expansion, you will be responsible for owning new program and pilots end to end lifecycle and its execution. You will start by interacting with business operations teams in NA, APAC, and EU to understand the most pressing business challenges that they face and by deeply understanding the current experiences for our Delivery Partners. You will work with product team to generate business plans that deliver great experiences for Delivery Partners and solve our business needs. This will include evaluating the current landscape, developing pricing structures, operational approach, financial models, and marketing plans. It will also entail the need to run weekly review and ensure delivery of business outcomes. You will partner with our Amazon Flex technology teams and the broader Last Mile org to develop the product roadmap, and will partner with local teams to operationally execute on new business models.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage full lifecycle development of a program with considerable impact across multiple organizations
• Work autonomously, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind leadership decisions·
• Work with product managers, business leaders, and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
