Amazon Fresh is a grocery store designed from the ground up to offer a seamless grocery shopping experience, whether customers are shopping in-store or online. At Amazon Fresh Grocery (AFG), we are pioneering the next generation of customer services, offering ultra-fast delivery, disruptive in-store technology, and fresh selection across grocery, pantry staples, and household essentials.
The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is looking for a motivated and talented Program Manager with strong customer focus, analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit to join the Central Selection & Merchandising team. You will help strategize, source, and deliver on detailed fixtures plans and timelines to bring our stores to life. You will communicate to leadership on status, risks, and process changes. The role offers the opportunity to build and execute on fixture and visual merchandise strategy by working cross-functionally within internal Retail functions (Vendor Management, Instock, Catalog, Merchandising, Sourcing, Marketing, and Procurement) and external suppliers. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, and fast-paced business environment, operating across multiple teams and levels in the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer experience intuition, business and product sense combined with solid understanding of technical concepts. You must be able to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, troubleshooting abilities, and ownership are essential to success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
* Forecast, procure, manage process timelines and deliver fixture strategies across AFG's store fleet.
* Own varying, overlapping fixture workstreams across major resets, flex resets, key adhoc initiatives, and store launches as a critical step to bring to life product strategies and deliver best in class selection to our customers.
* Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for innovation and simplification in fixture sourcing and merchandising processes.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines.
* Act as the ‘business owner’, possessing a thorough understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business.
* Develop deep understanding of tasks, dependencies, and risks to fixture execution. Challenge process and resolutions to deliver optimal results.
A day in the life
The Program Manager, Fixtures will work across a broad mix of cross-functional teams on sourcing, tracking, and monitoring progress of fixture tasks. Identifying potential risks to on-time delivery and providing tradeoff and solutions to overcome any challenges/delays. They will create workback calendars and tracking mechanisms to ensure sourcing and procurement goals are met, and report on the project status updates for each fixture workstream.
About the team
The Amazon Fresh Grocery Central Selection and Merchandising team is a group of program and product managers who are responsible for selection and merchandising planning and execution. The team was formed to create a centralized selection management process, with a mission of assorting and merchandising the grocery products that our customers want and need.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
