Job Description: Localization Project Manager – Quality Control

We are building our Global Marketing Localization group and are seeking Localization Project Managers who are eager to contribute to this exciting endeavor which allows us to speak to customers around the globe! Our Localization Project Manager will report to a Localization Program lead and closely collaborate with cross functional peers across International Marketing, Global Marketing and Amazon Studios Production and Mastering. The Localization Project manager will support the Program Lead and Vendor Program for our Localization QC initiatives. As well as facilitate the on-time and in-full QC checks on a high-volume of assets to ensure the highest quality of localization possible after our post-production A/V and Print Production processes.

Localization Project Managers will partner across multiple business teams to find and acquire source materials and support the QC of localized subtitles, dubs, and metadata for series and movies. The Localization Project Manager will create, update and maintain various tracking grids and status reports to keep Localization Producers and Executives up-to-date as content is finalized, track overall localization progress, flag outstanding materials, aggregate data for a subset of assigned tasks such as avails/metadata, and help amass assets for final delivery to Amazon Prime Video (PV).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* 4 years of experience with a variety of centralized Subtitling and Dubbing localization workflows across multiple regions and languages.

* 2 years of experience with a Quality Control processes across multiple regions and languages.

* Fluent in entertainment, post-production, and localization terminology

* Ability to report data accurately and identify errors or off-pattern entries in spreadsheets

* Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet aggressive deadlines

* Self-motivated to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Familiarity with a variety of digital media workflows and styles of content localization

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Detail oriented with excellent and proactive organizational skills

* Experience with proprietary systems and technologies

* Working knowledge with spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel

* Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and tracking of spends

* Familiarity with foreign languages (Spanish, German, Japanese, etc.) is a plus, but not essential to succeed in this role

* Familiarity with metadata organization and submission

* Familiarity with component-based localization and mastering workflows such as IMF or MMC

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Culver City CA. (open to Remote)

Pay Range: $38 - $42 per hour
