• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Planning, Business Management, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience within supply chain demand/inventory planning.
• 1 years of experience with SQL and advanced MS-Excel tools such as macros, v-lookup and pivot tables.

Amazon Web Services’ (AWS), Infrastructure Services Supply Chain organization is searching for a bright and ambitious individual with a strong delivery record, for our technology spares supply chain to join our team as a Supply Chain Manager - Planning. The role is a member of the AIS-SC InfraOps Planning & Sourcing (IPS) team and will be responsible for planning and replenishing inventory at the Data Centers. This will include developing and implementing new mechanisms/processes and best practices for inventory management and managing exception planning for business critical just in time demand.
This position will conduct spares inventory planning analysis and identify gaps in the inventory/process and will interface with IPS Demand, Strategic, fulfillment teams, Infrastructure Operations and may at times interact with vendors and other key members of AIS- SC to ensure supply chain continuity. The Supply Chain Manager - Planning role is the primary contact with Logistic, Data Center Operations and Engineering teams for all inventory management related activity to achieve both delivery service excellence and maximize supply chain efficiency to our internal partners. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the Spares Topology in the systems.
Key job responsibilities

• Planning and Replenishing Server and Networking spares requirement at the Data Centers for All America Data Centers using the existing tools and mechanisms
• Addressing day to day tactical and strategic supply chain issues
• Engage with Business, Vendors and Internal stakeholders to fulfill the spares requirement

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, and has strong attention to detail. You must be able to work independently and generate high-quality work products in an ambiguous environment. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will be required to work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
