We are looking for a Front Desk Dental Receptionist to work alongside our talented Dental staff, ensuring patients have smooth and efficient visits. the front desk is the first point of contact for most of our patients, so we're interested in hiring an organized, detail-oriented person with strong interpersonal skills who can establish rapport with patients. This position will involve answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients in a friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones.
  • Take messages.
  • Make appointments.
  • Basic Dental terminology.
  • Computer skills.
  • Helping patients and doctors.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks.
  • Answer questions and provide general information to the public and dental staff.
  • Greet visitors in a timely manner.
  • Answer questions in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean lobby.
  • Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Sort incoming mail for distribution to appropriate personnel.
  • Verify the identity, affiliation, and purpose of those seeking entrance to the building.
  • Entering Patient Insurance and other personal information into the charting system, and billing Insurance
  • Taking Patient Payments
  • Check patients in/out
  • Verify patients insurance
  • Create accurate treatment Plans
  • Processing Send claims
  • Confirm appointments
  • Follow-up calls - for patients who have treatment completed the day before
  • Send appeals to insurance
  • Check on the Insurance claim status
  • Post insurance payments
  • Post patient payments
  • Send Pre Authorizations
  • Post Pre Authorization results to patient ledger
  • Add attachments to claims (if needed)
  • Send monthly statements
  • Follow up on past due A/R
  • Add new insurance to a patient's family file
  • Create a new patient appointment
  • Prepare Patient Visit Forms
  • Dental Insurance Credentialing

Clinic Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday ( Alternating Mondays and Fridays ) allowing for 4-day weekends every other week!

Experience:

  • Dental Front Desk Receptionists: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
