Military Fellowship Programs allows transitioning servicemembers and military spouses to intern with Amazon to gain valuable experience in the civilian workforce and aids servicemembers in their transition from the military. Amazon pledged to hire over 100,000 U.S. Veterans and military spouses by July 2024, building on its commitment to military families after far exceeding its pledge to hire 25,000 by 2021.
This is an approved Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program. Active duty transitioning service members from any branch of service may apply if they meet the eligibility requirements. ABOUT THE AMAZON MILITARY SKILLBRIDGE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Amazon is proud to be a host company partner with Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) as part of a nationwide initiative via the Chamber of Commerce. Offered in a 3-times/year cohort and individual fellowship format, the 12-week program is held Monday through Thursday at host companies (Fridays are reserved for military duties and professional development). Amazon provides eligible transitioning military members and military spouses with fellowship opportunities across the company.
Through this cohort-based program, Amazon has already engaged with certain businesses and helped them develop a training plan that will cater to a cohort of transitioning servicemembers and military spouses. The Cohort Based Training model is designed to fill specific roles within the business, at specific locations and dates.
A day in the life
The Hiring Our Heroes Program is a 12 - week long fellowship for transitioning military members and military spouses. Fellowships are M-Th and typically 9AM-5PM. Fridays are reserved for Hiring our Heroes meetings and transition appointments. Fellowships offer opportunities to gain industry knowledge through shadowing, training, certifications, and the ability to participate in small projects.
LOCATIONS
Amazon is now offering flexibility to choose among 3 different working models: in-office, hybrid, and remote. Most of our fellowship opportunities are remote for the duration of the 12 week fellowship.

• In Office: Employees will be office based and be assigned a desk in an Amazon building. Employees will be required to reside within a commutable distance of the office they are assigned to. Office locations are across the continental U.S.
• Hybrid: Employees will be required to reside within a commutable distance of the office they are assigned to but have the flexibility to regularly work remotely away from the office. Employees on a Hybrid work pattern will be expected to attend their assigned office a minimum of one day per week.
• Remote: Employees will have the flexibility to regularly work remotely anywhere in the U.S. and will align with the designated hub.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $157,300/year in our highest geographic market.
