Amazon’s Aviation Security (AvSec) team is looking for AvSec Administrators to join its growing team! AvSec Administrators will perform Aviation Security functions at Fulfillment Center locations that transfer packages directly to Amazon AIR. Duties include oversight of daily activity, recordkeeping for the assigned shift, escalating security events, managing the TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) process and credentialing for FC employees (when required), and serving as a point of contact for regulatory engagement. Key job responsibilities
Execute aviation security functions at the site per Standard Work
Manage security credentialing of FC associates
Oversee FC staffing assignments to ensure only properly credentialed individuals handle AIR packages
Escalate irregular situations and aviation security related concerns to the AvSec Manager
Serve as a liaison during Transportation Security Administration (TSA) inspections
Provide job-specific training to associates
Complete pre and post-operations security inspections
Manage trailer seals – applying and logging seal application
File clear and concise records at the end of each activity
Audit records and activities
Complete a shift pass-down log as required
Engage with regional Amazon AIR airport operations
Perform special projects for the business
Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
Eligibility Requirement: This role is regulated by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and is subject to compliance requirements due to required accessibility in designated regulated cargo areas. Successful candidates must therefore complete all screenings prescribed by the TSA. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Oklahoma City, OK, USA
Bachelor’s Degree
1 year of leadership experience directly managing others
1 year working in a similar environment (e.g, FC, SC, small package logistics)
1 year working in a similarly regulated environment (e.g., air cargo, airline)
Ability to influence others without direct managerial responsibility
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members
