  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

We’re looking for a talented Program Manager to join the Customer Obsession (CO) Learning team to help scale our Working Backwards program. This role is a unique opportunity to play a highly visible role positively impacting Customer Obsession, Amazon’s primary leadership principle.
The ideal candidate is relentlessly obsessed with the customer experience and inspires others to do better. Continually working backwards from the customer, they define program requirements and drive teams/partners to meet our goals. They are forward-thinking, have a creative flair, embrace ambiguity and create novel programmatic solutions. As an excellent communicator, this individual demonstrates an ability to earn trust with both internal and external stakeholders. Driven by a genuine interest in learning and developing others, they are proactive and adaptive in their approach to work.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Define program solutions for the Working Backwards program
  • Develop program KPIs to identify opportunities and drive improvements
  • Communicate program updates company-wide
  • Support new strategy testing and development
  • Develop a network of volunteer facilitators
  • Audit, update, test, train, launch facilitated content
  • Foster community, interest, engagement in Working Backwards channel
  • Monitor the voice of our customer via both metrics and anecdotes
  • Own the new hire experience workflow and messaging
  • Facilitate live Working Backwards trainings

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
