Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, innovative company, on a rapidly growing team? If so, come make history with the Rapid and Rural (R2L) Expansions team. The R2L Team increases the speed of delivery for customers in both Urban and Rural areas and is responsible for the acquisition, construction and management of all facilities within the Sub Same Day and Rural & Super Rural programs. We are looking for a program manager to join our R2L Expansions Team who will develop and manage a cross-functional process to identify and validate perspective new buildings, think big to anticipate and work around potential blockers, and deliver leases for new building launches. R2L is looking for an agile Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own both strategic and tactical real estate expansion projects and programs. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing and scaling processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to cross-functional senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team collaboration, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
Key job responsibilities
  • Manage full lifecycle of the launch expansion process from lease signing to launch, through cross-functional partnerships across Construction, Start Up, IT, Techcon, LP, Middle Mile, DSP and Flex among others
  • Develop the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver new delivery station locations
  • Execute in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand launch risk, limitations, mitigation plans, and required stakeholder support.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
  • Oversee launch task progress between teams, processes and systems to helping teams reduce inefficiencies and shooting the gap where needed.
  • Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks

  • 3 years of driving process improvements experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
