Job summary The Data Analyst/Bin Meister will work closely with the RSR/Capacity Manager to support creation and changes to bins, maintain records and lists of bin information coordinate movement of inventory and drive optimal utilization of capacity. The Process Assistant/Bin Meister will also work closely with IC/QA to provide data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigation of defects, and support to insure compliance to ICQA-related SoX requirements. Job duties include:
Assists RSR/Capacity Manager with bin capacity management. Provide updates weekly.
In depth research of defect trends
Designing queries, compiling data, and generating reports in MS Access and Excel
Process requests to create new bins or change existing bins, virtually and physically. As the FC Bin Meister, needs to coordinate all bin conversions prior to execution.
Investigates and resolves bin related problems reported by all departments within the FC.
Maintains record of floor bin configuration including floor map.
Manages/deletes non-existent bins.
Coordinates the movement of inventory.
Audits bin utilization and gives recommendations on consolidation activities.
Identify consolidation opportunities.
Help create on modify consolidation plans.
Coordinate the execution of the consolidation plans or projects
Maintains and updates building pick paths with the Picking department and Pick PT
Additional Requirements
Maintains good relationship with help desk.
Manages bin label maintenance program.
Works in all RSR process paths as directed.
