Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide assistance and support to our special needs young adult (18 years.) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:30-5 pm during the summer (starting June 10, 2024). He is easy going and enjoys music, new experiences, and outdoor time. He can walk but needs someone to assist in transitions and to ensure safety when he's up. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping him with daily activities and ensuring his overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in his life.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support for our son
- Assist him with hygiene including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfer
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities (we will help come up with some fun ideas)

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in special needs, childcare, or related fields is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with our son and ourselves
- Ability to provide direct support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Ability to adapt to different needs and situations
- Reliable transportation to travel between client locations
