Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential homes. Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure the safety of individuals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Help individuals develop essential life skills and promote independence
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress

Experience:
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home settings is a plus
- Experience in patient care or direct support roles is beneficial
- Understanding of resident rights and systems
