AMAMCO Tool & Supply Co., Inc. is Hiring a R&D / CNC Technician Near Lyman, SC

Reports to: R&D Manager

Job Summary / Objective:

Set up and operate a CNC mill for prototype and testing operations in the company’s R&D department.

Essential Job Functions include but not limited to:

Set up and operate a CNC mill
The ability to learn and operate complex inspection and testing equipment like dynamometers, thermal imagining camera and various other inspection related equipment would be required.
Possess the knowledge or have the ability to learn CAD/CAM, a plus.
The ability to track and document test results and then present them internally.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint a plus.
At times, operating manual machines may be required.

Other responsibilities within AMAMCO’s R&D department may be required.

Required / Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, relationship builder with integrity and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and customers to maximize performance, problem solving and results.
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Exhibits excellent judgment.
Embraces and executes the Company’s core values and actively support the Company’s vision and goals.
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from supervisor to accomplish objectives.
