Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of IPP Accounting, the Residential Property Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of property management accounting.

What You’ll Do

• Review and process AP & AR
• Work closely with the Property Management Team

• Prepare month-end property reconciliations and analysis
• Maintain tenant and rental information
• Financial data entry including preparation of journal entries
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Participate in the annual budgeting process

What you Bring to the team

• Degree with a focus on accounting an asset
• 1 year in a Property Accountant role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act

• Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Asset: experience with Yardi

Salary:

The expected base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, and years of relevant experience.
