Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Barry is currently seeking applicants for an Electroplater/Operator 1. The Electroplater/Operator 1 is responsible for cleaning, racking, electroplating, and measurements of electronic components. Job Location: Vishay Barry is located in Attleboro, MA that is conveniently located near the main highways as well as some highly recommended restaurants. There are approximately 70 employees across two shifts working at our 40,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This would be an on-site position. What you will be doing: Review work order and related paperwork for plating instructions. Assist in performing routine maintenance on plating system and equipment, including adding chemicals, changing filters, maintaining racks, etc. Identify job parameters and set tank controls accordingly. Proper tank set up and execution of plating instructions. Proper racking and tooling of parts. Inspect parts for proper surface preparation. Ensure that all previous operations have been completed prior to plating. Visually inspect all parts for quality of work. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Follow all environmental, health and safety regulations. Other duties as assigned. What you will bring along: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred. Excellent attention to detail. Safety conscious attitude. Must feel comfortable working with chemicals for long periods of time.
