A large food manufacturer in the Eastend of Louisville, who is in need of a Maintenance Tech on first shift. Must be able to work 1st shift; 6am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday. This is a skilled machine maintenance tech position. Must have some prior experience with machine maintenance as well as building maintenance. Basic electrical, machining skills required with additional maintenance skills. This is primarily a machine maintenance position. Must have prior experience with food manufacturing.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are in good working condition
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with equipment
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance projects
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts
- Proficiency in electrical systems maintenance
- Experience with Facilities Maintenance
- Knowledge of CMMS for work order management
- Leadership skills to supervise maintenance projects effectively
- Customer service-oriented approach to interact with internal teams
