Job Summary
This position for Always Neighbors Home Care is responsible for assisting with the general needs of the Scheduling Department on a day-to-day basis as well as filling in, rarely/when needed, to provide home care. This position will provide general support in the office and will work closely with the Administrative Team to ensure client satisfaction with services- specifically with new clients as we build their schedule to get started. This is carried out via direct collaboration with the Director of Operations, other Scheduling Coordinator(s), and the Owner.
Required hours are 8:00am–4:00pm, M-F.
Responsibilities include assisting with new client scheduling, communicating with both clients and caregivers, ensuring proper documentation of all relevant events, going out to do occasional intake visits, and general oversight of new clients.
This position is responsible for maintaining superior customer service and enhancing the Agency's image through professional dress, pleasant and helpful telephone manner, and courteous interaction with all staff, clients, and visitors. This position will help with screening calls to assist clients and caregivers with scheduling changes and other short term adjustments. The attire for this position is relaxed business casual.
Qualifications
This position requires an individual who is a self-starter with excellent organizational, office, customer service and telephone skills. Background in healthcare/senior services and/or service industry is preferred.
Must have good recall, be articulate, detail oriented and have good penmanship. This position requires a warm, congenial, and professional attitude. Maintaining the confidentiality of employees and clients is a key requirement of position. Also required is the ability to be flexible, handle frequent interruptions, change previously established schedules on short notice, manage multiple priorities and accomplish tasks against deadlines. Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision and possess a high degree of initiative along with the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.

This is an hourly position with additional opportunity for bonuses as deemed appropriate. The starting hourly rate for this position is $22.00, plus bonuses. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience and other necessary skills.
