Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta/Buckhead is seeking an experienced caregiver to join our team in Union City, Georgia. This is a part-time, individual contributor role for 16 hours per week, from Monday to Thursday, 1PM-5PM. As an Experienced Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and professional care to our senior clients. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in healthcare or a passion for helping others.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $13 to $15 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, employees are eligible for a range of benefits, including healthcare and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to senior clients, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily tasks such as medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior and report to supervisor
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for clients
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures
