Always An Angel Homecare is recruiting homecare aides/companions who can assist our client in their home. The tasks are light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep and friendship. Your scheduler coordinator will work with you in making sure your schedule matches you and your family needs along with your clients.

Homecare aide does not require experience or certifications, only the willingness and ability to help others in their daily lives with the help of a written service plan.

Qualifications:

• Must complete the agency's employment process.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, and understand consumer confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow directions, and work as a team.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from assignments.

Duties:

• Planning and preparing meals (some with dietary restriction)
• Light housekeeping includes Swifter floors or vacuuming, laundry, changing bed linens, wipe down bathroom, clean up kitchen from meal prep, run the dishwasher etc.
• Providing companionship, and stimulation for the client with our homebased activity program AMIT (A Moment In Time)
• Accompanying your client to appointments as needed
• Running errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions as needed
