ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Feeds and runs the equipment at acceptable production rates while ensuring quality of parts.

Maintains a clean and orderly workplace and observes appropriate safety precautions at all times.

Discerns malfunctioning product or equipment and attempts necessary corrections or notifies Supervisor to avoid excessive scrap.

Operate computer for Shop Floor Data Collection.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read SWS / SIS and all other documents in the department; ability to speak effectively to all employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
