POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Subject Matter Expert - Business Operations Specialist. The Business Operations Specialist (also recognized as Subject Matter Expert (SME)) plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational excellence of the Command Operations Group (COG) within the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). This individual is a cornerstone in ensuring the seamless and efficient day-to-day activities of the team, providing critical support to COG and its ancillary departments, including Command Operations Support, Command Mission Support, and Program and Business Analysis Support.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team and contribute to the “fluidity” and “smooth” functioning of our operations. • Develop and implement sophisticated methods, theories, and research techniques to address and resolve intricate business challenges.
• Conduct thorough analyses, develop comprehensive reports, and formulate justifications to guide decision-making processes.
• Propose alternative courses of action and contribute to the development and execution of operational plans, strategies, and business rules.
• Champion standardization initiatives and support the continuous improvement of COG operations.
• Manage and direct the workload pertaining to Command Operation Support, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.

Payrate: $118,729 to $148,412 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be able to obtain base access.
• Proven expertise in business operations within a military or government setting.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply advanced problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Adept at working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and process standardization.
