This position will primarily focus on Recruiting/Onboarding but will also carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Employee Relations, Performance Management, Policy Implementation, Human Capital Management System, Training, Benefits Administration, Affirmative Action, and Employment Law Compliance. Essential Functions: Conducts full cycle recruiting for all levels of employees, interns, and contingent workforce. Work with managers and supervisors to meet the needs of their departments, create job requisitions, write and post advertisements on internal/external careers page and job boards complying with all EEOC guidelines, prescreen candidate resumes, conduct interviews both by phone and in person. Follow company protocol for new hire approval, write offer letters, initiate background checks, conduct new hire orientation and monitor career development program. Administers Affirmative Action Program, maintains records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations. Analyze, audit and develop information in Excel using formulas and advanced tools for Affirmative plan and other HR recordkeeping. Maintains strict confidentiality when working with APP’s people and information. Handles coaching, counseling and documentation using sound judgment and problem-solving skills while considering morale, diplomacy and approach strategy. Utilizes Dayforce Human Capital Management system and other software to complete tasks and achieve key results. Performs benefit administration support to include communicating benefit information to employees. Participates in the development of company and departmental goals, objectives, and systems. Develops, implements and administers various Human Resources plans, policies and procedures. Requirements: Experience with labor laws, EEO, AAP, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ACA, etc. Independent worker with a clear sense of urgency and exceptional accuracy. Excellent written and oral communication. Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Possesses strong discernment, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Either a Bachelor’s degree in an HR related field, a PHR certification, or a minimum of five years HR experience. Strong computer and HCM/HRMS knowledge. Strong Microsoft Office skills – specifically advanced with Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Excellent listener, communicator and collaborator. Thorough knowledge of principles and practices pertaining to human resources and a specific function within HR. Strong organization, time and project management skills necessary to prioritize and manage multiple, complex projects, potentially with conflicting priorities; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment. Demonstrated skills in employee relations. Experience working in a Manufacturing industry a plus. Bilingual a plus.
