 We are hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for 3rd shift is responsible for timely loading and unloading of trucks along with accuracy of shipment paperwork. Also responsible for managing finished goods inventory counts and making sure they are put away in their correct lane. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Work with production to ensure priority programs are ready for shipment
• Get loads ready for shipment per SWI
• Creates bar code labels and shippers for all shipments 
• Loads and unloads trucks within a timely manner
• Coordinate deliveries when required 
• Weigh foundry scrap ( Shavings and Dross ) and put on trailer every shift as time permits 
• Put away all metal if approved and space available
• Must be capable of writing shippers and keeping records of same 
• Check in shipments utilizing B.O.M 
• Ability to follow internal shipping procedures 
• Scan and move all full bins from LPI lines to finished goods from dock audit area by or before the end of every shift and proper FIFO followed for all lanes 
• Complies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Blood borne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics 
• When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job 
• Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor

Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and abilities 

• Basic math, minor computer skills, judgment 
• Team Player, Listening
• Have high integrity, honesty and capable of high stress handling situations with changing priorities
• Capability to make out reports, do math, and use the computer in order to record daily events
• Requires strong prioritization & time management skills 
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively 

Education and/or Experience

• 2 years experience 
• Forklift Certification
• High School Diploma or GED Required or equivalent
• Basic shop math (calculation of quench times based on part sizes, calculate cycle times…)
