The Mold Set Technician is responsible for ensuring minimum downtime and maximum life of the mold. As a Mold Setter you are responsible for controlling the flow of materials into a machine, monitoring the process to prevent issues, to ensure machinery to set accordingly. They are also responsible for ensuring products are produced accurately and within set time constrictions.

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshooting mold set failures
• Work with Production scheduling and Operations to facilitate mold changes
• Repair of equipment
• Work with CI and Engineering for process improvements
• Coordinate with Quality to understand and resolve issues
• When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job
• Other Tasks as assigned by your supervisor and management

Requirements

What We Need from You:

• 3 years applicable experience or equivalent education and experience
• Must have experience with troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment issues
• Intermediate mechanical and/or electrical basic problem solving
• Ability to operate small hand tools, inspection equipment, and common office equipment
• Must be able to generate, follow and explain detailed proposals and operating procedures
• Must be able to analyze and correct complex product and/or process issues using independent judgment
• Must be able to routinely make decisions that affect immediate operations
• Must be able to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks
• Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 55 pounds regularly
