Description

 The Team Lead supports the operations, promotes adherence to the production system, support corrective actions and continuous improvement daily.

• Effectively communicates company expectations and priorities to all team members.
• Ensures work is performed in a safe efficient manner to meet daily goals.
• Responsible for directing work and recommending actions in the area of employee activities 
• Facilitate the continuous quality improvement of production operations by ensuring products are manufactured according to customer specification and adequate resources are available.
• Responsible for the training of employees in machining operations and safety.
• Manage the introduction and training of new/transferred employees into the work area.
• Conduct retraining as necessary or when requested.
• Responsible for maintaining cell 5s Housekeeping standard.
• Perform 5s Housekeeping, safety audits, LPA audits, Continuous Improvements.
• Assist the shift supervisor with department production reporting.
• Follow the Safety, Health, and Environmental Program as reflected in the SHE Policy Statement
• Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Quality Policy
• Other duties as assigned
