What We're Looking For:
Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a PCA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Help with laundry tasks as needed.
- Remind individuals about medication schedules.
- Prioritize safety and well-being.
- Communicate important changes in condition to supervisors.
- Prepare simple meals as needed.
- Support mobility and movement.
- Facilitate basic physical exercises as needed.
- Keep detailed records and follow care procedures.
- Adhere to confidentiality and infection prevention standards.
- Assist with personal hygiene activities as needed.
- Conduct basic cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Provide companionship and engage in activities like reading and writing.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
- Current CPR certification.
- Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
