Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide

Job Details: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem Positions Available

Job Description: Altra Homecare Group is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide compassionate in-home care to our valued patients. Our team members are responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet our patients' unique needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with patient's laundry when required
• Providing medication reminders
• Ensuring patient safety
• Promptly reporting significant changes in the patient's condition to their immediate supervisor
• Preparing light meals and assisting with patient feeding as necessary
• Accurate temperature monitoring and recording
• Assisting patients with ambulation
• Conducting range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and adhering to care protocols
• Complying with privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offering assistance with bathing
• Light housekeeping
• Providing companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Current CPR certification
• Satisfy training requirements as per State and Federal laws
• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions
