What We're Looking For:

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a PCA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Help with laundry tasks as needed.
• Remind individuals about medication schedules.
• Prioritize safety and well-being.
• Communicate important changes in condition to supervisors.
• Prepare simple meals as needed.
• Support mobility and movement.
• Facilitate basic physical exercises as needed.
• Keep detailed records and follow care procedures.
• Adhere to confidentiality and infection prevention standards.
• Assist with personal hygiene activities as needed.
• Conduct basic cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities like reading and writing.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Current CPR certification.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
