Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Shipping Supervisor to join our team. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Your role will involve managing a team of warehouse associates, optimizing processes, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the shipping department
- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes to ensure efficient operations
- Plan and schedule shipments based on customer orders and delivery requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on proper shipping procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to order fulfillment or delivery
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments, monitor inventory, and generate reports
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize efficiency
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of warehouse associates

Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Shipping Supervisor or Warehouse Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce, materials handling, logistics, and shipping receiving processes
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments and manage inventory
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required

Pay: $21.62 - $26.04 per hour
