Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our healthcare team. As an STNA, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide basic nursing care, such as wound care and medication administration under the supervision of a nurse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Observe and report any changes in patients' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Assist with documentation and record keeping

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to phlebotomize and collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Experience in behavioral health or pediatrics is a plus
- Familiarity with acute care settings and physical examinations
- Proficiency in providing primary care assistance to patients
- Experience working in nursing homes or providing dementia care is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
