Alto Health Care Staffing is Hiring a Travel Speech Language Pathologist Near Sitka, AK

We're seeking a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment, working 40 hours per week on day shifts. Qualifications:

Education:

  • Hold a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. If you're passionate, progressive, and possess relevant work experience, we're open to considering your application!

Experience:

  • Bring at least 3 years of experience providing therapy to the patient population this position serves. If you've got a combination of education and training that makes you stand out, we want to hear from you!
  • Preferably, have a robust background in acute care hospital settings, with a focus on dysphagia and neurology for at least three years.
  • Experience with modified barium swallow/video fluoroscopic swallowing studies and bedside clinical swallowing examinations is highly preferred.

License:

  • Active State of Alaska licensure in Speech Language Pathology is a must.
  • Possess Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Hold a Basic Life Support certification to ensure the safety of those you serve.
  • A valid Driver's License to navigate the stunning landscapes of Sitka and beyond.
