The Replenishment Analyst is responsible for replenishment of Altman Plants product into the customer’s stores, developing a replenishment strategy to maximize sales and sell-through %, reporting sales and trends to account management, and supporting account management in the decision making process.

Job responsibilities & duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

· Collect, measure, and interpret large volumes of sales data

· Utilize current and historical sales trends to maximize sales, inventory turns and margin

· Analyze product in stores to meet inventory goals/parameters

• Use Altman software to upload and edit orders, download and analyze reports for sales, shipments, production, etc.

· Communication with sales team, operations team and customer on effective inventory strategies to achieve profitable sales

· Monitor supplier performance across multiple product categories for compliance

· Participate in meetings and/or support account management by providing replenishment related information and reports (internal and customer meetings)

· Perform any other work as directed by manager.

Qualified applicants must have ability to:

· Use sound judgement, make business decisions, and give recommendations to account management

· Organize, comprehend, and summarize large amounts of data

· Proficient in math and basic statistics

· Learn and use proprietary company software

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Detail oriented with high level of accuracy

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Be able to take direction

Requirements:

· Possess Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Skills

· Key excel skills preferred include:

o Vlookup, Sumifs, mathematical, and text functions

o Pivot tables, report building, filtering, sorting, data organization

· Quick learner

· College degree preferred, but not necessary

· Horticulture/plant knowledge a plus, but not necessary
