Job Description:
* Integrates installations and performs factory and on-site customer witnessed acceptance testing, maintenance, repairs, and modifies equipment. Essential Functions:
* Performs a variety of component and subassembly tests as well as system integration, on site installation, and maintenance and technical support on antenna tracking systems and software at factory and/or field locations.
* Analyzes and evaluates product performance and recommends technical solutions and upgrades to equipment per customer requirements.
* Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions with control, mechanical and RF systems to eliminate problem in minimal time. Supports installs and upgrades to fielded equipment's and maintenance visits. * Troubleshoots analog and digital systems to component level.
* Provides onsite technical training to customers and supports personnel.
* Maintains effective customer communications and relations while acting as on-site representative.
* Availability to travel worldwide for up to 50% of a given year is required.
Qualifications:
* Associate degree or a bachelor's degree in engineering/electronics or a related technical field is required.
* Minimum of 5 years of related engineering/testing experience. * Has an Active Secret Clearance at the time of application.
* Current driver's license and clear driving record to drive company vehicles.
Preferred Additional Skills: * Knowledge on how to test and integrate systems to the subassembly components.
* The ability to use the following tools is required: Spectrum and Network Analyzers, O Scope, DVM, Signal Generator, hand tools, heavy shop tools, safety equipment, soldering iron, crimper, measuring equipment, inspection tools, forklift, manlift, company vehicle, and pallet jack.
