Since 1988 Alternatives for Children, a not-for-profit private school, has been at the forefront in providing educational experiences to a broad spectrum of children from across Long Island, offering special education pre-school programs and daycare for pre-school age children.

We currently have opportunities for full time Behavior Support Assistants to work in our Dix Hills location.

Behavior Support Assistants - Must have a HS Diploma/GED; experience with behavior management with special needs preschool children essential. ABA courses or enrolled in college course dealing with behaviors a MUST. Some college credits in Early Childhood Education is preferred, Teacher’s Assistant Certification a strong plus.

Medical/Dental Benefits will take effect IMMEDIATELY on your start date and Sign-On Bonus will be given at 3 and 6 months of employment.
