Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Ensure resident safety and well-being by following established protocols and resident rights.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hospice care is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with elderly individuals.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles.
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly individuals.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $11.10 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
