You will be working closely with mechanical engineering and act as a project lead to drive progress.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following.Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage and maintain resource manufacturing plan
• Maintain the plan as primary / baseline manufacturing resources change over time
• Identify and track all resource-based risks to hardware quality or schedule
• Plan and implement risk mitigations to manufacturing resources
• Manage and maintain Hardware Manufacturing Plan
• Track location, usage history, maintenance / rework history, and life of top-level valve hardware
• Prepare materials to facilitate Manufacturing Capacity Requests to Production Engineering
• Provide support on tasks, activities, and action items for manufacturing team within the Valves IPT, consisting of Manufacturing Engineers (ME) and Planners (MP)
• Keep ME’s focused on IPT priorities to maintain schedule
• Oversee procurement activities
• Track material costs and delivery schedule

Education/Experience

• Minimum of aBachelor’sdegree (B.S.)inComputer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5-15 years of relevant work experience

Qualifications

• Some experience in leading a team, strong communication & organizational skills
• Experience in aerospace industry (space or aviation)
• Experience in complex component development & testing
